Therapy
Do you tend to worry all the time? Do you often struggle to manage overwhelming sadness and lack motivation? Are your emotional issues impacting the important relationships in your life? Together, we can achieve relief from the discomfort and stagnancy caused by depression, anxiety, stress, and relationship issues.
We can work together to overcome the obstacles in your life, allowing you to enjoy a more satisfying and productive existence. My approach is to compassionately engage with each client in a relaxed and supportive environment to help them gain control over challenges and achieve their individual goals.
I support those in their recovery to develop coping skills, build self-esteem, and communicate effectively. I offer the use of tarot (by request) as a projective tool to empower clients and help them connect to their intuition on their healing journey. I incorporate the use of spiritual tools for personal growth in my practice and help clients heal their nervous system and spirit.
I work with teens and adults (14+).
I offer virtual (all of CT) or in person therapy in Fairfield, CT. You MUST be in the state of CT for your appointment if we are meeting virtually.
Specialties and Training
My career as a therapist began in an inpatient facility for teenagers struggling with eating disorders. I have a deep clinical understanding of how to heal from the cycle of restriction, bingeing, and purging. I work with clients to build and maintain a healthy relationship with their body and food. I have an extensive network of medical professionals I work in tandem with on a multidisciplinary team (dietitians, psychiatrists, and medical professionals) to support my clients in their recovery.
I received specialized training at the University of Pennsylvania for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and offer Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) as a first line of treatment for those managing obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.
I am an active member of Postpartum Support International and completed an in depth training on supporting those with perinatal mood disorders in 2023. I understand new motherhood on a clinical and personal level and enjoy supporting individuals as they navigate the path of new parenthood.
